A group of teachers and students from the Pharmaceutical Engineering major at Chongqing University of Science and Technology visited Chongqing Liweikang for a field trip.
On January 2, 2025, at the beginning of the new year, Chongqing Liweikang welcomed students from the Pharmaceutical Engineering major of Chongqing University of Science and Technology who were about to graduate. This company visit and internship was led by Dr. Yao, director of the Department of Biology and Pharmacy, and teachers Chen Nan and Chen Ji. It aimed to deepen students' understanding and application of pharmaceutical equipment and is a key initiative of Chongqing Liweikang in actively implementing the concept of integrating production, education, and research, aiming to provide students with ahigh-quality internship and experimental environment.
Under the organization and leadership of Li Xiaofei, director of the marketing department, and his team members, the students systematically visited the company's modern workshops, laboratories, and the experimental base under construction. The explainers, in an easy-to-understand manner, introduced the company's three core products: particle size processing systems including integrators, hammer mills, needle mills, and air-flow mills; spraying systems including various types of spray guns; and microsphere preparation systems including extrusion rolling machines, wet granulators, and fluidized beds. They explained the operating principles of these devices and, combining practical application scenarios, depicted the wide application of these advanced intelligent manufacturing technologies in the pharmaceutical industry.
The students listened attentively, diligently taking notes of key information. Thisvisit and internship not only gave them a deeper understanding of the integrated application of pharmaceutical equipment and processes but also laid a solid foundation for their future careerplanning anddevelopment.
